Privacy
LifeOS is a personal assistant that I run for myself, on my own hardware. The Google application named LifeOS exists so that this software can read my own Gmail and Google Calendar on my behalf. It has one user: me.
What it accesses
- Read-only access to my own Gmail messages, so the assistant can watch for specific mail.
- Read-only access to my own Google Calendar, so the assistant can show my agenda.
It cannot send mail, change or delete messages, or create or edit calendar events.
What happens to the data
- Data is read on my own machine and used only to show me my own information.
- Nothing is sold, shared, published or sent to any third party.
- No one else can sign in to the application; it serves no other users.
Control
Access is granted by my own Google account and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Questions go to github.com/bde-dev.
